Dave Baumgardner has a BS, Business Administration from Murray State University, 2001, along with having a Human Resources Certification from Eastern Kentucky University, 2004. Dave came on board and began his career with MMLI has an Environmental Field Tech. Since then Dave has been one of our regional managers (Paducah, KY) and is currently filling a marketing position.

Tyler Prince, Sales & Marketing, Central Kentucky Region

Tyler Prince is responsible for all marketing aspects in the Central Kentucky, South Central Ohio and North Central Tennessee.  Tyler has been with MMLI since 1998.  Tyler has a wide range of expertise including sample collection, SDWA & NPDES/KPDES services.

Johnny Osborne, Sales & Marketing, Eastern Kentucky Region

Johnny Osborne is responsible for all marketing aspects in the Eastern Kentucky, South Eastern Ohio and North Eastern Tennessee.  Johnny has been with MMLI for 25 years.  Johnny’s expertise includes sample collection, SDWA & NPDES/KPDES services.

Jason Blair, Sales & Marketing, Louisville Region

Jason Blair is the laboratory manager and the marketing representative for the newly added Louisville regional office. His education includes a B.S. in Biology from Kentucky Wesleyan College and an Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Nashville Campus . Mr. Blair has over 10 years experience in performing analytical testing. His responsibilities include the oversight of the Louisville office including laboratory operations, customer service, field services and marketing.

Je'ton Wilkes, Biologist, Biomonitoring

Je'Ton Wilks is an aquatic biologist with professional education and working knowledge in the field of aquatic biology, including collection methods, identification of freshwater invertebrates and fishes, and water quality analysis.  She possesses professional knowledge of microbiology analyses required for wastewater treatment plants and municipal water systems.

Sherri Crowley, Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMR's)

Sherri has been with McCoy & McCoy Laboratories for 17 years. Before she came to MMLI Sherri’s background was in banking. Once she came to MMLI she was inititally in charge of the Madisonville Sample Receipt Department. Her current duties include complete oversight of the LIMS invoicing program, as well as, ensuring our customers KPDES Discharge Monitoring Reports are completed and accurate. She worked for several years in the sample receiving area and assists in training of employees.

Stephanie Troutman, Product Testing/FDA

The Product Testing Department (PTD) primarily utilizes methods from the U.S. Pharmacopeias ranging from physical tests to organic chemistry. The PTD analyzes products found in most common everyday products, such as, shampoo, deodorant, and cosmetics.

Doug Wolfe, Director of Laboratory Services

C. Douglas Wolfe is the Director of Laboratory Services, with expertise in analytical and compliance requirements for landfill monitoring, industrial monitoring and specialized analytical projects requiring quality control data packages. Doug has extensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulatory programs including RCRA, NPDES and SDWA. Doug has been with MMLI for 27 years.

Syd Tate, NPDES, Industrial Monitoring, Landfill Monitoring

Syd is in the Data Review section, with his primary responsibility being in the areas of industrial monitoring, landfills, coal mine water analyses, and wastewater. Syd has been with MMLI since 1990. He was Corporate Manager of Field Services until 2000, when he moved into the laboratory Data Review group. Syd often does offsite training for clients and organizations in the area of field sampling techniques and protocols. He is a 1977 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a B.S. degree in Environmental Resources. Prior to joining MMLI he worked for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, the Kentucky Division of Surface Mining, Reclamation and Enforcement, and a private coal company, where he was an Environmental Scientist.

Todd Cowan, Ph.D. QA/QC Officer

Dr. Cowan is responsible for all aspects of the QA/QC program for McCoy & McCoy Laboratories.   He is involved with the development of the QA/QC programs at all five laboratories to insure compliance with McCoy & McCoy Laboratories policies, accrediting organizations and both Kentucky and Federal; EPA statutes.

Tammy Tapp-Bowles, KPDES Data Reviewer, DMR coordinator for KPDES/Coal Mine

Tammy joined MMLI in 2001 with a background as a Medical Laboratory Technician and Forensic Autopsy Technician. Her duties include: data reviewer, discharge monitoring reports for KPDES and coal mines, water quality reports for coal mines, fluoride review and submittal to DOW Dental Health Branch, and analytical and customer support.

Mike Baumgardner, Laboratory Operations

Mike Baumgardner is the Vice President of McCoy & McCoy Laboratories, Inc. Mike is responsible for guiding and supporting laboratory operations for optimization of samples throughput while evaluating market conditions to ensure MMLI is positioned to meet the regulatory and monitoring requirements for each client. Mike has been an integral part of the MMLI team for 30 years.

Suzanne Soder, CPA Accounting

Suzanne serves as treasurer and controller of MMLI. Since 1988, Suzanne has overseen all financial reporting and coordinated the financial needs of the company and its subsidiaries. As Controller she supervises, coordinates, and reviews all financial apsects of McCoy & McCoy, Inc., including ongoing and special financing, is reponsible for local, state, and federal financial and tax reporting, provides financial in-put for bid proposals, oversees budget preperation, and cash requirement projections.

Amanda Hall, Pikeville

Amanda Hall oversees all KPDES/NPDES testing in the Pikeville Laboratory. She is a certified microbiologist by the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Division of Water and has extensive knowledge of water and wastewater testing.
